Which planet in our solar system has the highest number of moons?
A Jupiter
B Saturn
C Mars
Saturn and Jupiter have their own ‘moon race’ going on, as researchers keep discovering more as telescopes and technology improve. In February 2023, Jupiter moved into the lead with 92 moons. But in May, astronomers found another 62 moons orbiting Saturn, taking its total to 145. Another one has since been announced, putting Saturn’s grand total at 146, so it has the most moons (for now).
The correct answer is Saturn.
