Tulsidas was a Vaishnava Hindu saint and poet, celebrated for his unwavering devotion to the deity Rama. Born on August 11, 1511, Tulsidas left an indelible mark on Hindu spirituality and literature, before passing away on 30 July 1623. He wrote numerous influential works in Sanskrit, Awadhi and Braj Bhasha, but he is most renowned for his two monumental creations, ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and ‘Ramcharitmanas.’
